Taxes, FAFSA, & Verification Oh my!
I hope all of your enjoyed your winter breaks and have caught up on rest and time with friends and family. Winter Intersession at Carmen is in full swing which means the Spring semester is almost here for our seniors soon to be graduates like you. Here is what you need to be getting done in the month of January:
What is a 1098-T Form?
The 1098-E and 1098-T are two forms from the IRS dealing with educational expenses. The E is connected to student loan interest and the T is connected to your tuition. I am attaching the general instructions for the E/T forms for tax filing.
NOTE: If you file your own taxes you'll include these forms with your taxes. If you do not file and are still claimed by your parents, make sure you give this form to them for their taxes.
